Is it possible to have several essay prompts one week before the final, in order to better prepare for the exam? Can more be explained about the final and topic in order to conduct a little research before the final?
I agree...would it be possible to have some choices for our final essay in order to better prepare for it???? I found it really difficult to do the written essay, because I was not well informed about the topics we had to choose from....By listing some prompts I believe we will be able to become a little more familiarized with the essay for the final.
I believe that the final is going to be writing an essay on any topic that we choose. Remember that our essay must be one that will raise our class GPA, so that we can receive an good overall class grade.
I THINK THE EASIEST WAY TO CHOOSE A TOPIC TO WRITE ABOUT IS TO WRITE ABOUT SOMETHING YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. THINK OF TOPIC THAT WOULD BE FUN TO RESEARCH. I GAVE ONE CLASSMATE AN IDEA TO RESEARCH ABOUT FRANCE BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN THERE BEFORE AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN FOR HER TO RESEARCH MORE ABOUT A COUNTRY SHE HAS VISITED. SHE WENT WITH MY IDEA :)
Under most circumstances, I would love to give you all the prompts early, let you prepare, and enjoy well prepared and researched essays. Unfortunately, the best way I have of assuring that you do write the finals in class and not before is to not give anyone the prompt beforehand.
Normally, the best way to prepare for the final is to check one's previous essays and find how to correct the errors they contain. We all tend to make the same kinds of errors over again.

Has Mr. Crandall mentioned what the final topic will be on? If we can get some idea that would be great.

i think the final will be an activity, we already had one in class essay.
