The movie Apocalypse Now, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, portrays a sense of lunacy in certain of the scenes and characters. The boat crew members--Chef, Chief, Lance, and Clean--help guide Willard (the main character, played by Martin Sheen) up the river to complete his classified mission in search of former Green Beret Colonel Walter E. Kurtz.
