Introspections of a writer....

What does it mean to be a good writer? How can one eat, sleep, and breath everyday without having a sincere consciousness about who, what, where, when, why, or how he is? We ask ourselves these questions daily. When we brake through our own barriers - through the challenges that we all face, weather tumultuous or gracious...we still accomplish it within our minds. We strive to continue – hopefully unbiased to each others plights with the sincere mission to understand what danger is ahead. Reading does this for me. It lets me reach out from the bubble that I am in. I can create my own destiny and write it with a passion and a fervor I never thought I’ve had before. If it is a power – then let it be called that. All I know that when it is in my hands, it is put to good use. The power of imagination reaches so many people…as an adult…I’m glad I can still wield it…because life would end without dreams.

I am so usually busy. But so far...I like reading sense & sensibility; pride & prejudice; Pandora’s Box, by Anne Rice; Beach Music, by Pat Conroy – who is an enjoyable contemporary writer that I’m currently reading for leisure,. When I was young, I used to read books by Meredith Ann Pierce - The Dark Angel Trilogy. I've read coming of age books like Sister's of the traveling pants 1 & 2. I am not widely read…but I am really gravitating towards it. I aspire to read more. No classics, thank goodness! I’ve never given in to reading those boring testimonials of moralistic literature! I pretty much got started reading just 2years ago.

OH! I read Romeo & Juliet! Great book...I recommend it to anyone who wants to transform from a fighter into a lover. Each character was integral to the entire book, they were all featured equally. So well written! Dramatics galore but intellectually stimulating!

Honestly, I never thought I'd be this way...reading all the time. And...I believe this class surely helps me aspire for more.

well...as you all know already, reading lots of books are never bad for you. your writing skill will be improved if you really read it rather than skim it
